Turns out, you can cut string pretty easily with your bare hands. Don't believe me? I'll bet you twenty bucks.

The technique almost looks like a trick if you pull it off fast enough, but there's no funny business here. It's just friction and, if you're feeling it, a little bit of showmanship. As the Craftsman explains:
