If his theory turns out to be correct, it will provide a new theory of solar activity, a new understanding of solar-terrestrial relationships, and a new area for investigating the way magnetic fields affect human life. "Writing this book has freed me intellectually," he says. "I've put my hand to the plow, so to speak, and now everybody knows where I stand, which is against dogma in any form—religious dogma, political dogma, scientific dogma. I can think more clearly now about things that lie outside the currently accepted realms of science."
